I have spent 27 years in the public school system and never wanted to teach at a private school. My reason was that I wanted to teach all kids regardless of parent income and I did not want to teach just rich kids. Due to current circumstances, I felt that I could not succeed at the level I am accustomed to as a teacher without moving to a private school.

I have worked hard to make sure our private school is affordable. I love competing and beating the private schools that charge $25,000 to $50,000 dollars a year in tuition. We are currently only charging $2000 a year over and above the voucher. Even with this small amount it is unaffordable for some parents. I am determined that our school is going to be a merit-based school and that any kid who meets our standards will be admitted even if their parent cannot afford the $2000.

As a school focused on competitive academics it is still very expensive if your kid competes, which all of our kids will be doing. There are entry fees, charter buses to sites around the state, hourly pay for coaches/sponsors who give up their Saturdays to take kids, and sometimes hotel fees for competitions that require overnight stays. Again, I do not want any kid denied the opportunity to compete because their parents cannot afford the competitive fees.

We are actively seeking donations to help keep our costs down and make our school affordable to all who qualify. All donations will be used to help those who cannot afford the $2,000 tuition and to help those who cannot afford the costs of competing in all of our various academic competitions. If you can, please write checks to:
